Planning ahead and commitment
The difference between scraping a pass and getting the score you need is almost always time. Starting early and staying consistent is what turns effort into results.
Going from one CEFR level to the next usually takes around 200 hours of guided study. It isn't something you do in a month.
Erasmus places are decided months before you travel, and universities ask for the certificate on fixed dates. Have it early and you get to choose.
With time to spare you can repeat mock exams, work on your weak spots and even resit if you need to.
12–18 months before
Level test and plan. You start moving up a level calmly.

Choose the exam your destination asks for and start specific preparation.

Full mock exams, personal feedback and final fine-tuning.

Young people aged roughly 14 to 25: secondary and sixth-form students, university students and recent graduates. We group by level and goal.
It depends on the host university. The most common requirement is B2 (Cambridge B2 First, IELTS, TOEFL or PTE Academic), and some ask for C1. We'll help you check.
Ideally 12 to 18 months before you need the certificate, especially if you have to move up a level. After the level test we give you a realistic timeline.
