Frequently asked questions
PTE Academic or PTE Core for my child?
PTE Academic is for adults entering university or working in English-speaking countries. PTE Core is for young students who want an official certification of their level. If the goal is a UK visa, then it's the PTE UK Visa Test.
From what age can they sit it?
From age 12.
How long is the preparation?
We work in levels (A1–A2, B1–B2, C1–C2), and each level takes between 3 and 9 months depending on the pace you choose. The free level test sets the starting point.
